The birdcage that we made can shelter four couples. The cages are each about 1 m in width, 4 m in length and a height of 1.90 m. We use the famous turning system that has three bowls to feed our birds.

During the winter period, the cage can be made weathered proof. We put a wall in front of the cage that has two windows on top that can be folded open. These can be opened on nice days and allow us to reach the feeding bowls. Also in this period, all the doors in between the cage can be opened. So that all our birds can fly together freely and can have more space to move about. We know that some breeders don't trust in this, but we have been doing this for over a year and without any issues so far. We do make sure that before the breeding season arrives the couples are separated again.
