Welcome
The Dorsai cattery exists since 1989
and in my very first litter in
October 1991 there was this
beautiful silver boy, The Dorsai's Pendragon.
I decided then and there that what I
wanted to breed was silvers.So,
most of the Maine Coons here
are silver, beautiful clear silvers (although
lately, there's also quite a lot of red around here).
My main concern in breeding is
health; all the cats are tested for
hereditary diseases like HCM
(hypertrophic cardiomiopathy), PKD (polycystic
kidney disease) and HD (hip dysplasia). In the
'links' section, you will find websites explaining in detail
what these
diseases entail.
I am
since quite a long time Overseas Director of MCBFA,
the largest Maine
Coon club in the world (Maine Coon Breeders and Fanciers
Association).
