At a very young age FRANK EHMANN (°1970) already played the trumpet and bass-tuba with different jazz-bands, among which THE BELGIAN DIXIEKINGS, the Piccolo Dixielandband, Straight Ahead and Hermans Bigband. Later on he played with several Belgian and foreign bands and artists: Deep Creek Jazzuits (B), The Circus Square Jazzband (NL), The Limehouse Jazzband (NL), Carlo Willems (B), Jack Coenen (NL), Andre Donni (B). In a very particular way Frank produces on his bass-tuba the sound of a contra-bass. This way of playing is unique for the Belgian jazz-scene. Discover also his walking-bass!

Schon ganz jung spielte FRANK EHMANN (°1970) schon Trumpete und Bass-Tuba bei verscheidenen Jazz-bands wie THE BELGIAN DIXIE KINGS, The Picollo Jazzlandband, Straight Ahead und Hermans BigBand. Später arbeitete er zusammen mit verschiedenen Bands und Artisten aus Belgien und Aussland: Deep Creek Jazzuits (B), The Circus Square Jazzband (NL), The Limehouse Jazzband (NL), Carlo Willems (B), Jack Coenen (NL), Andre Donni (B) ... Frank était encore très jeune quand il a joué déjà de la trompette et de la basse dans plusieurs formations de jazz et de dixie dont le Piccolo Dixielandband, Straight Ahead et Herman's Big band n’en sont que quelques exemples. Plus tard il a joué dans de différentes formations de dixieland à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur à savoir  the Deep Creek Jazzuits (B), the Circus Square Jazzband (Nl) et le Limehouse Jazzband (Nl) et avec plusieurs artistes comme Jack Coenen (Nl), André Donni (B) et
