Project Cotoneaster (from Kengai to Moyo-gi)

Origine : nusery stock

Pot : Drum pot chinese


Re-potted in his new pot.

I need to find a nice pot for 
this cotoneaster!

This is the first rough design 
after cutting away most of the stem.

Somehow  I did not like the design .
The trunk lacks taper.
When the shoots came out at the top, 
see mark on the photo, I started to 
get another idea.

May 2004: 

So I started in spring 2004.
Potted it up and wired it down.
The Cotoneaster is doing good 
in his training pot. Prove, it's 
already blooming.

November 2003:

This is the 
Cotoneaster "silver shadow" 
in the growing field.
First idea was to shape it
into a cascade.
